What are the fees for this service?
There are no fees for any assistance that is provided by LearningBonds.ca. This includes, but is no limited to, any of the following:
A. Determining your eligibility for the various government entitlements.
B. Calculation of your benefits.
D. The referring of a professional Learning Bond and/or Education Savings Grants Specialists.
Please note: All Specialists referred by LearningBonds.ca are fully licensed and there are no fees for their assistance.
How long does it take to begin receiving deposits from the Federal Government of Canada?
Typical time frames are as follows:
A. To determine your eligibility for the Canada Learning Bond and/or Grants: completion of Eligibility Form.
B. First deposit of the Bond and/or Grant: 45 days from time of application submission
C. Additional provincial funding (if applicable): varies depending on the province
What is a Learning Bond and Grants Specialist and how do they help me?
A Learning Bond and Grants Specialist is an individual who will assist you in collecting all of your federal entitlements (and provincial, if applicable). They will help to determine your eligibility for various programs and assist you with applying.
All Specialists referred by LearningBonds.ca are fully licensed to assist you.

There are no fees for assistance provided by a referred Specialist.
Is the Learning Bond different than the Education Savings Grants?
Yes, they are two separate government entitlements, but both are used to assist your child with saving for their post-secondary education.
The Learning Bond is a $2,000 entitlement.
The federal Education Savings Grant is $7,200 entitlement.
Can I collect my benefits retroactively?
For the purposes of this section:
Learning Bond - may be collected retroactively, provided that the appropriate conditions are met (for example, age, income levels, etc).
Canada Education Savings Grant - retroactive Grant money may be collected, provided that you are eligible and follow the appropriate strategy. Professional advice specific to your situation is helpful when collecting your Grant retroactively.
